Soho House is opening its first Soho Home Studio in London at King’s Road, Chelsea – set to open in September 2021. This will be Soho Home’s first flagship for the homeware brand from Soho House. In addition to showcasing Soho Home’s collections, the interiors destination will offer a new retail concept, providing access to interior design services, a programme of workshops and events, and a rotating gallery of member collaborations for customers to discover and enjoy.
The Soho Home Studio has been signed on a 5-year lease and spans 6,000 sq. ft of a standalone heritage building in a prominent location on the corner of Duke of York Square and King’s Road, overlooking the Saatchi Gallery.
Aalish Yorke-Long, Managing Director, Soho Home comments, “I am excited to be opening our first Soho Home Studio in London in September. This is the first time our members and customers have been able to experience the full Soho Home collection in one space and meet with our expert team of interior designers, who will work with them to bring the Soho House interiors aesthetic into their own home. The Studio draws on all the best elements of the Soho House lifestyle; customers can eat, drink, create and enjoy a series of events. We were drawn to the beauty of this historic building and its fantastic location, we look forward to joining the neighbourhood.”
The flagship will open in a previous chapel, built in 1824 as part of a Royal Military School at 6 Duke of York Square, overlooking the architecturally award-winning circular Vardo restaurant. The Square is also home to a weekly Fine Food Market, regular events and curated mix of international and independent fashion, beauty, food and culture.
