Recess Opens its First Experiential Pop-up Oasis for Creatives

Recess, the wellness beverage brand, recently opened its first experiential pop-up space in New York called Recess IRL. The CBD infused sparkling water brand has been created for creatives to relax and connect with others. The space welcomes consumers to discover the feelings of balance and clarity—what Recess’ hemp extract and adaptogen-infused sparkling water evoke. 

The shop is playfully designed, inspired by the brand’s own visual identity, featuring sunset-hued walls, sensory lighting, and a mini Zen garden.

Besides being a cool place chill out and try a new drink, Recess IRL is offering events and programming to creative and professional audiences from February through March. The pop-up includes free events including talks and panels like Acupuncture for Creativity and a Women in the Cannabis industry Panel and Mixer.

“We created a space to take all the ideas, feelings, and experiences we’ve created online and put them back into the real world. it’s easy to let our most creative thoughts remain day-dreams, abstract and distinct from real life. This space is all about making thoughts felt. And when we’re not hosting curated events, we’ll be open as simply a place to take a Recess; to pause, reflect, and wonder, before continuing on with your day.”

The brand has plans to roll out more pop-ups in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more cities.
