Fashion Week in New York is always exciting and delightful to watch. From Tom Ford and Brandon Maxwell strong, confident and daring outfits to Michael Kors and Prabal Gurung bright, neon, floral and tropical prints, show us how inclusive and diverse are all the designers from the big apple, always keeping on mind women from all walks of life and from all backgrounds.

Ralph Lauren celebrated of 50 years in business and he did it with one of his best collections ever, embracing the American style as usual and putting it in a higher level. The event took place at the plaza hotel and the guest list included the most popular celebrities and Ralph’s fellow designers like Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Michael Kors all turned out to toast.

We also have Proenza Schouler and Rodarte back in New York, both of them we’re last year presenting their shows in Paris. Designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy from Rodarte wrote on their Instagram account: “We are excited to announce we will be showing our SS19 collection during NYC Fashion Week! We are thrilled to create the show with our amazing team.”

Talking about Rodarte, weather was really bad this fashion week and rain wasn’t helpful for the runways that we had outdoors. New Yorkers as usual took the obstacles and turned them over in amazing opportunities. Making Sies Marjan and Rodarte models walk with umbrellas and make them look so effortless like everything was planed like this since the beginning.

Marc Jacobs is always the cherry on top of NYFW and this season it wasn’t the exception. People had to wait for the fashion show but it totally worth it. The truck that was delivering the clothes to the venue got stuck in traffic and arrived one hour and half later. Finally he could put all fashion show and the outfits together and he just blew our minds out, with a collection full of sequins, feathers, big and soft ruffles, silver silks and dresses with certain air of Hitchcock and haute couture, brought to the ready to wear.
