Karl Lagerfeld’s label has seen exponential growth each year since his relaunching in 2012. Capping off its run, the brand is opening its own space in New York for the first time, offering clothing from its men’s and women’s collections. Operating out of SoHo, the store’s design draws from Lagerfeld’s home and studio, recreating the designer’s personal library with a wall of books and referencing his furniture collection with antique mirrors. More playful design elements include a massive silver Kid Robot sculpture of Lagerfeld holding his beloved cat, Choupette.
