Join a Free Online Lecture with Tim Walker, Molly Goddard, and Samuel Ross

Hosted by Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation, a series of talks spanning art, fashion, and design are set to run every day this week.

Following the news that French fashion institution IFM is launching a series of free online courses, with Simone Porte Jacquemus adopting the role as professor for one of them, now, Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation, an artistic charity established in 2007, is also set to broadcast a number of free talks.

With a focus on art and fashion, the lecturers, which kicked off on Friday (March 27), will see notable fashion names impart their wisdom to those who sign up. With British designer Molly Goddard in conversation with legendary photographer Tim Walker, the series will also see Dazed’s own Bunny Kinneytalking to Samuel Ross of A-COLD-WALL*, and artist Grayson Perry also taking part.

Entitled the Sarabande Sessions, the course will see a “selection of inspirational and creative talks streamed live into your home for limited (lockdown) period,” the institution wrote on Instagram. With a new talk posted at 5pm everyday, the series will run until April 9.

Set to give anybody an opportunity to gain some insight into the creative industries, the initiative will surely help ease the self isolation boredom a lot of us are currently experiencing.
