Galeries Lafayette on Champs-Élysées invited Simon Porte Jacquemus to celebrate the brand’s tenth anniversary with a presentation of its collections in the department store, staged until July 14th.
In collaboration with Clara Cornet, creative director of the department store, the designer imagined a journey into the Jacquemus universe, starting from the south of France, crossing a wheat field, a whitewashed house of the Greek islands and a Mediterranean villa under the sun of Tenerife. Showcasing pieces from signature collections like “The Riviera”, “La Bomba”, “Les Santons de Provence”, and “L’Amour d’un Gitan”, the sale demonstrates the different sources of Jacquemus’s inspiration, set against a decor straight from the French Riviera.
All exhibits will be on sale, in limited edition and exclusively for Galeries Lafayette. In the store, customers can cool off at the lemonade stand managed by Café Citron until June 24th.
Next stop of the celebrations will be a co-ed fashion show in Provence, scheduled for June 24th
