Hermés unveiled their latest windows in collaboration with artist, Gabriel Rico. Gabriel Rico’s work is characterized by the interrelation of seemingly disparate objects.
Rico pairs found, collected, and manufactured materials to create sculptures that invite viewers to reflect on the relationship between humans and our natural environment. He frequently uses neon, taxidermy, ceramics, branches, and more personal pieces of his past to create an equation or formulation.
This season’s windows feature volcanic rocks from Gabriel Rico’s hometown in Mexico, along with a touch of technology – an Augmented Reality feature where visitors can scan the window and see the display come to a new light.
