Green Hut CBD kiosk opens at Craft Beer Cellar – Stowe Today

Green Hut LLC, a sustainable CBD retail company, has been established in Waterbury.

Green Hut provides a curated line of Vermont craft cannabidiol products that are sustainably grown and independently tested. It pledges to deal only with Vermont suppliers who follow organic growing guidelines and abstain from using any toxic pesticides, fertilizers, extraction processes, or additives, and holds suppliers accountable by conducting random third-party testing on products sold at Green Hut.

Meg Burns is CEO of Green Hut and Mark Drutman is chief operating officer.

All Green Hut employees will complete a training program on the science of CBD so they can provide factual information to customers.

“There is a lot of misinformation about CBD based on anecdotal claims, and we want to help our customers sort out the truth from fiction,” Drutman said.

Burns, who previously worked in corporate sustainability in the snow sports industry, said the company emphasizes “having the lowest impact to the environment and the community we are based in.”

The Green Hut is a small kiosk, a “store inside a store,” at the Craft Beer Cellar at 3 Elm St. in Waterbury, of which Drutman is co-owner. Information: greenhutcbd.com.
