On Friday, August 23, 2024, WindowsWear hosted the finance program from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) from São Paulo, Brazil with Professor Silvye Ane Massaini and students Augusto Telo do Nascimento, Catherine Aicha Sanches Azar, Giulia Souza e Silva, Guilherme Augusto Turrini da Silva, Guilherme Miranda de Souza, João Mateus Martins Garcia, Lara Vituri Garcia de Souza, Luis Felipe Bento Mota, Maria Eduarda do Amaral Cavaco Ely, Maria Eliza Carneiro de Mello, Rodrigo Negro Guillen, Tales Martins Fugolin, Tomas Armando Barreiros, Yuri Maresca Simões in New York City.

The day began with a dynamic introduction to the history of finance in New York City and ending with a walking tour of the financial district, tracing its roots from a humble trading post in the 17th century to its current status as the epicenter of global finance.

The walking tour included stops at iconic landmarks such as the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, and the Charging Bull statue. The tour combined lessons in finance and highlighted landmarks like the New York Stock Exchange and Federal Hall. The experience inspired the students to deepen their understanding of finance, leaving them motivated and reflective as they concluded the tour.

The students were captivated by stories of the early days of the New York Stock Exchange, the impact of the Great Depression, and the rise of Wall Street as a symbol of financial might.
