Chloé Opens its Doors and Invites You to their Archives

Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld at the ChloéArchive. For this year’s European Heritage Days weekend, Maison Chloé opens its doors and invites you to discover the creations of the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld over his 25 successful years as a designer for the House. Housed within a mansion that dates to the beginning of the 20th century, the collection of clothes, sketches and photos will be revealed as an exclusive guided tour.

KarlLagerfeld, a Chloé story. In 1963, Gaby Aghion appointed the young Karl Lagerfeld to the artistic direction of Maison Chloé. His collections, rich with inspirations that spanned classic to pop culture, drew from his haute couture savoir-faire, and reimagined dresses with new lightness and femininity. By 1983, he would leave Chloé for Chanel. When he returned as artistic director from 1992 to 1997, he continued to build upon the free-spirited femininity that he had helped define so early on.
