EcoVadis awards this medal to the top 15% of companies assessed within the past 12 months. The medal demonstrates the quality of BNA’s sustainability management system and our commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain.
BNA completes this annual assessment to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. BNA’s strong performance communicates to customers that we are a valuable partner on their sustainability journey.
A sustainability rating organization evaluates companies on various Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors, such as their greenhouse gas emissions and ethical sourcing practices. While some rating organizations only focus on information published in annual reports, EcoVadis takes a more comprehensive approach. EcoVadis judges companies based on the quality of their systems that support ESG factors, such as BNA’s procedures that enforce and maintain ethical sourcing practices. EcoVadis’ methodology with its assessment is built on international sustainability standards, including the United Nations Global Compact.
This award is based on the evaluation of various Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors, such as:

- Providing post-purchase care services to extend product lifetime

- Training to strengthen employee knowledge about health and safety risks as well as establishing awareness training on maintaining a strong culture where employees feel they belong and are valued

- Regular audits on anti-corruption, bribery policies, and compliance
- Systematic compliance and due diligence measures when dealing with third-party intermediaries
