Guess

Jennifer Lopez was the face of Guess in the spring of 2018 and her pictures were to blow our minds. The classic Guess Women look, inspired in pin-up girls’ back in the 30’s was perfect for this fabulous singer, actress, dancer and producer starring 18 Ads that were around the world in the windows displays.

As a Las Vegas performer and Hollywood actress, the campaign was inspired by J-Lo’s aesthetic and personal style. “When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,” Lopez said in a statement. “When I look back at early Guess campaigns through the years, you see all of these beautiful models and iconic images that Paul has created.”

Michael Kors

On the summer of 2018, Michael Kors’ inspiration for his limited graffiti collection of shoes, jackets and bags was the New York City street art in the Eighties. To celebrate the launch of that collection, Kors enlisted two fashion professionals who lived through Eighties New York fashion. Candy Pratts Price and hairstylist Christiaan collaborated on window displays, featuring a floor-to-ceiling screen print of Kors in his aviators, and rotating mannequins wearing the graffiti collection and sculptural wigs while snapping selfies of themselves in front of the backdrop. There was a social media activation motivating the costumers and fans of the brand to take selfies on the windows with the image of Michael, and posting their pictures with the hashtag #MKGO.

Bergdorf Goodman

Iris Apfel has a lot to say at 96 years old. Her popular and outspoken personality has amassed an arsenal of stories about the fashion industry, and a few of which are chronicled in her new book, “Iris Apfel: Accidental Icon.” Last Year on March for the launch of her new book, Bergdorf Goodman showcased Iris’ universe in their windows. As usual in everything that involves Iris, she collaborated with the design of the windows and with the selection of all the pieces that the mannequins were wearing at the displays.

Saks

Sacai created for fall a T-shirt and hoodie featuring the paper’s “Truth” campaign that rolled out last year after the President Trump-led advent of public figures labeling any unfriendly news story “fake news”. As the New York Times’ mission is always to try to make the truth public in its newspaper, this was the perfect excuse to make collaboration with the brand at the window display at Saks Fifth Avenue.
