A Look Inside the Tom Sachs x BEAMS Pop-Up Shop in Tokyo

With concurrent exhibitions at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery and Tomio Koyama Gallery, Tom Sachs also opened the doors to his collaborative pop-up shop with BEAMS in Tokyo this past Friday.

The installment signals the Japanese retailer’s first-ever collaboration with the American artist as the duo release exclusive NASA T-shirts with cobranded logos. Accompanying the co-branded tees is select hardware from Tom Sachs studio such as foldable chairs, quarter screws, Japanese playing cards, note pads, multi-tonal pens, as well as the Noguchi Museum x Tom Sachs floor lamps.

The Tom Sachs x BEAMS pop-up store will be open to the public until May 6.

In related stores, the artist recently took to Instagram to reveal a new NIKECRAFT poncho that marks the arrival of a forthcoming collaborative line of merchandise.
