Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE has been playing curator for a special exhibition featuring vivid collaboration pieces by FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS and Carhartt WORK IN PROGRESS.
Dubbed “SECOND CHANCE,” the two labels have joined together to display a series of custom reconstructed pieces that include Carhartt’s iconic Active Jacket and a slew of T-shirts. Each garment has been reworked with vintage pieces handpicked from thrift stores – a total of 14 unique art pieces are currently on view. Those able to make it to the pop-up can participate in its silk-print workshop as well.
To go with the launch of the exhibition, a concise capsule of three event-exclusive pieces have been developed: The OG 2nd Chance Active Jacket, the brown and orange 2nd Chance Pocket T-Shirt and the black and white 2nd Chance T-shirt. Coming in brown and black, the first piece is constructed in heavy-duty duck canvas. At the front of the jacket, both labels’ logos are embroidered over the left side, while the right sees a special “SECOND CHANCE” patch. The pocket tee comes in a dark brown palette, contrasted with a bright orange left sleeve that’s emblazoned with co-branding. To offset the heavy branding, the final T-shirt is kept minimal. Offered in black and white, the tees are finished off with Carhartt’s patch logo placed over the upper left chest.
Elsewhere, Stussy has delivered its Fall 2019 lookbook steeped in reworked classic styles.
