On May 7, 2024, WindowsWear hosted an educational experience for design and merchandising students from Dominican University’s Fashion Merchandising Program with Chair Discipline Director Melissa Carr.
The tour kicked off with a presentation about New York City’s fashion retail industry and and then exploration at Diana Fabrics in the Garment District with founder Diana Mahrach where students gained firsthand knowledge of textile design and industry insights.
The day continued with a journey through iconic New York City landmarks and a comprehensive walkthrough of Fifth Avenue where students learned retail strategies and innovations from the world’s leading brands.
