Alexander McQueen opens a store in Portofino, Italy, following the design concept for the house conceived by creative director Sarah Burton in collaboration with the architect Smiljan Radic.

Drawing on a fascination with nature that underpins the core values of the house of Alexander McQueen, the main material employed is oak which appears on walls and shelving.
This is juxtaposed with Alba Chiara marble slab cabinets and flooring upholding a local flavour.
Experimentation is prized: the product is the protagonist, seen from all sides and up close.
