Berlin is the most influential fashion capital in Germany and is known for its fashion forward, creative and individual designs and trends throughout the world. WindowsWear now covers the major fashion districts of Berlin in Friedrichstraße and Kurfürstendamm, which have been essential for Germany’s fashion industry. WindowsWear adds up to 260 new unique windows every month from 80+ different stores in Berlin. German VOGUE chief director Christiane Arp founded the GFDC (German Fashion and Design Council) in Berlin this January, pointing out how valuable the German fashion market is and what role it plays worldwide. Contrasts between historical buildings and modern architecture, between the traditional and the modern are what set the city apart from the rest.
